Name of Project: Elective Subject Selection

Abstract

Elective Subject Selection Management System is a web-based platform designed to simplify and automate the process of elective subject selection, approval, teacher allocation, examination management, and student performance tracking. The system provides separate functionalities for Principal/Admin, HOD, Teachers, and Students, allowing each user to perform role-specific activities through a centralized platform.

The Principal/Admin can manage HODs, departments, selected subjects, selected teachers, and overall system activities through a dashboard. The HOD can log in, examine student information, view registered students, manage examination schedules, approve elective subjects, manage registered teachers, and handle teacher-related requests. Teachers can register by providing their personal, qualification, and supporting document details, manage their profiles, view requests, and access relevant teaching or examination information. Students can register and log in to select elective subjects, view approval status, access study materials, attend examinations, check performance, and manage examination or seating-related information.

The system provides a centralized and structured approach to elective-subject management, reducing manual work and improving coordination between students, teachers, HODs, and administration. The proposed system can help institutions manage elective subject selection and related academic activities in an organized and transparent manner.
